Riise can score some truly fantastic goals and most of his goals are like thunderbolts. But his own goal on Tuesday was so weird when he decided to use his head instead of his "thunderbolt" boots to clear the ball! At least his song still makes sense... "John Arne Riise OOOH AAHHH, I wanna know how you scored that goal!"
This got me thinking about own goals and the "best" ones. One stands out: Darlington vs. Bury, Chris Brass (OG). Bury's Chris Brass tried to clear the ball but ended up kicking the ball into his own face, breaking his nose, and the ball bouncing off and going past the goalkeeper into his own net.

Arc de Triomphe
After a great brunch at Ladurée, and despite the rainy weather, Natasha and I decided to go to the top Arc de Triomphe because thats what every tourist in Paris does, right? Anyway, here's a panorama consisting of three photos, looking out towards the Champs-Élysées. The shot is quite boring and leaves me wishing the weather was better, but panoramas are cool so i thought i'd put it up anyway. \o/

An Earnest Attempt...
Despite the rat-like nature of male pigeons, they have humourous mating patterns which involve puffing up their necks and pursuing of the lucky girl, whether she is impressed or not.
And analogous to the results that we experience when attempting to woo someone, they either triumph or fail...

The Word "Paramore" and its Origin...
One of the best quotes ever:
- Barney: Within a triad of solar periods, you'll recognize your dearth of compatability with your paramore and conclude your association.
- Robin: My journey was transformative and I reassert my committment to both the afformentioned paramore & the philosophies he aspouses.
- Gael: What are we talking of? Baseball?
- Barney: It's all gonna return to masticate you in the glutials. Support my hypothesis, Ted.
- Ted: I'm just jubilant my former paramore is jubilant.

Paramore in Paris
Outside of the Louvre Museum, I took a quick shot of my camera shy, jubilant paramore. Black and white, just the way she likes it :D
